Our team is made up of experienced electricians and technicians who are committed to providing the highest level of service and expertise in the industry.

Kinetic BMS was founded in 2008. Having graduated from the NAIT Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Program (Revised currently as the NAIT Building Environmental Systems Technology program) in 1980, Rob holds over 40 years of industry experience in HVAC, controls, automation. Prior to founding Kinetic BMS, Rob managed Gateway Controls from 1995 to 2008. Gateway Controls began in partnership with Johnson Controls in 1995 and was purchased 13 years later.

With Rob’s background in sales, project management, engineering, and technician work, Rob has led Kinetic BMS to become a leading provider of building automation services in the Edmonton area. The company’s success is a testament to Rob’s passion for the industry and our team’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that support the needs of our clients and industry partners.

In 2018, Kinetic BMS Inc. added to the team by bringing on Joe Eyestone to help manage the day to day business operations of the company. Joe is a graduate from the 2005 NAIT Building Environmental Systems Technology (BEST) program. He has over 8 years experience in controls and automation and 17 years of experience in the HVAC industry. Joe holds a red seal journeyman certificate as a refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic with an extensive background in service operations and service management. Joe’s deep knowledge of mechanical systems adds an additional layer of expertise to how we design and implement our systems and services.
