A cutting-edge learning facility built for empowered education.

Four Winds Public School was constructed in response to the growing student population in Morinville to provide a modern and cutting-edge learning facility for the community. To ensure sustainable building operations and provide optimal learning conditions, Kinetic BMS was engaged to assist in designing and implementing a BMS system that would meet the needs of both the staff and students.

We were chosen for this project due to our track record and strong relationship with the owner, Sturgeon County School Division. A new school in Morinville was necessary to accommodate the growing community. As a design assist project, we were involved in the general design intent of the BMS system, that is, how the BMS should appear and function. Following the design phase, we proceeded to install the required system components in coordination with other building trades.

Once the construction was completed, we fine-tuned the system to create a comfortable and stable environment for the students and staff. Our team recognizes the impact of classroom environments on student learning, and our focus on providing a conducive space for teaching reflects this understanding. Sturgeon County School Division has a Kinetic BMS system in each of their schools, tying back into a single user interface. This interface makes it easy to manage all mechanical systems, and our partnership with the operations team helps to keep all systems running at peak performance.
